Nikil Thalanki

Structural Engineer Member at Space Enterprise at Berkeley

Nikil Thalanki is an accomplished researcher and engineer currently working as a Researcher at Molecular Foundry, focusing on automated synthesis of halide perovskites for photovoltaic applications. With extensive experience in various engineering roles, Nikil has contributed to the Space Enterprise at Berkeley as a Structural Engineer Member and the MetroBot Research Group as a Mechanical Engineering Member, specializing in human-robot interaction. Previous roles include a Process Engineering Intern at Intel Corporation, where efforts resulted in significant cost savings and workflow improvements, and a Product Management Intern at Tassel Software. Nikil has also held leadership positions in the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, expanding membership and engagement initiatives. Currently pursuing dual Bachelor’s degrees in Materials Science & Engineering and Business Administration as part of the Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology program at UC Berkeley, Nikil is set to continue education with a Master's in Materials Science.
