Desiree Mayfield

Desiree Mayfield is a seasoned Contracts Manager at Space Florida, where since 2005, Desiree has led the contracts department and nurtured client business development and partner relationships, aligning operations with executive management's strategic objectives. Desiree possesses extensive knowledge of Space Florida's funded operational programs and statutory requirements, aiding the Senior Executive Team in securing board approvals and managing governance initiatives. Prior to their tenure at Space Florida, Desiree honed their skills in the legal field as a Legal Assistant for Attorney Michael Minot and in various roles at Harris Corporation and Portable Air Conditioning, Inc., where Desiree achieved significant financial resolutions. Desiree holds an Associate's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Florida Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management at Barry University, Cape Canaveral.
