Stefano Cheli

Stefano Cheli is an accomplished leader in the tourism and conservation sectors, currently serving as an Executive Board Member at Suyian Conservancy and Chairman of the Board at Naboisho Conservancy Masai Mara. With extensive experience as an Expert Consultant for Space for Giants and as a former Board Member for Northern Rangelands Trust and Africa Conservation Centre, Cheli has consistently focused on sustainable development and conservation initiatives. Founder of Cheli & Peacock Safaris, Cheli built a successful tourism company that supports high-end safari experiences with a conservation emphasis, while also establishing the Land and Life Foundation to enhance education in wildlife-adjacent communities. Cheli has played founding roles in several significant organizations, including Mara North Conservancy and Kenya Tourism Foundation, and held leadership positions within the Kenya Association of Tour Operators. Cheli’s educational background includes a Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering from Istituto Technico Industriale.
