Chief Engr. - Design & Process at Space Foundry

Daniel Gutierrez has a diverse work experience beginning in 2010 when they were a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. In 2012, they began working at the NASA Ames Research Center as an Assistant Lab Manager and Project Lead. In 2019, they joined X, the Moonshot Factory as an Operations Technician, where they were awarded Excellence Awards in September 2020 and March 2021. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Space Foundry Inc. as a Design and Process Engineer, where they design and tests new tools, sensors and user interface features, as well as assembles, tests and troubleshoots electro-mechanical and electro-chemical systems. Additionally, they work on manufacturing process optimization to produce assembly and quality control guides.

Daniel Gutierrez received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in EE (Semiconductors, Power Electronics and Electrochemical Energy Storage) from Stanford University in 2016. Daniel also holds a B.S. in Green Electronics (Semiconductors, Electrochemical Energy Storage, Power Electronics) from Stanford University, obtained in 2015. Additionally, they have obtained a Hazardous Material Safety Training certification from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
