Ilankuzhali Elavarasan

Ilankuzhali Elavarasan is a Research Assistant at the Indian Space Research Organization, contributing to India's maiden Human Space Flight Programme at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine - Indian Air Force, since January 2022. In addition, Ilankuzhali serves as a Visiting Scholar at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science, a Space Hero Insider for Space Hero, and a Researcher at Habitat Marte, focusing on sustainable technologies for Mars habitats. Previous roles include Chief Training Officer at Space Development Nexus, where Ilankuzhali developed space science courses and mentored future leaders, and Space Educator at Helium Learning Labs, India's first virtual space school. Academic experience includes roles as an Astrobiology author and internships involving material testing. Ilankuzhali holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Hindustan University.
