Kirby Harris

Kirby Harris is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As Co-founder and Managing Partner at Base Ventures since 2012, Kirby has focused on strategic growth and innovation. In addition, Kirby serves as an Investor and Board Observer at Space Perspective since September 2021. Previously, Kirby was Principal at Monte Cresta Capital from 2010 to 2011, where the firm provided comprehensive private investment advisory services. Prior experience includes a Consultant role during the fund wind down at Impact Capital Management, Inc. and serving as Vice President at the same company from 2000 to 2008, where Kirby played a pivotal role in developing business and financial strategies for a distributed clean energy company. Kirby holds a BA in Business Administration and Management from Morehouse College, an MBA in Finance from Cal State East Bay, and is part of the Kaufman Fellows Class 21.
