Zane MacCagnano

Zane Maccagnano has extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Zane currently works at Space Perspective as the Lead Design Engineer, where they are part of a team that is revolutionizing human spaceflight with a high-performance space balloon and pressurized capsule technology. Prior to this, Zane served as the Lead Engineer, Design Structures & Mechanisms at World View from 2014 to 2020. Before that, they worked at Paragon Space Development Corporation as the Lead Design Aerospace Engineer from 2008 to 2014. Zane's career began at Sargent Controls & Aerospace, where they served as a Senior Project Engineer from 1997 to 2008.

Zane Maccagnano earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman between 1992 and 1997. Following this, Zane pursued an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona from 1997 to 1998.
