Junjun Liu

Junjun Liu is a highly experienced research scientist with a robust background in planetary sciences and applied mathematics. Current work at the Space Science Institute since September 2015 follows a notable tenure at Caltech, where Junjun Liu served as a research scientist from September 2008 to July 2015 and as a postdoctoral scholar from July 2006 to June 2008. Junjun Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in planetary sciences with a minor in applied and computational mathematics from Caltech between 2000 and 2006, after obtaining a master's degree in theoretical condensed matter physics from Peking University from 1997 to 2000.
