John Bradford, Ph.D.

John Bradford, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. John began their career in 1997 as an Engineering Intern at Aerojet. In 1998, they became a Graduate Research Fellow at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. In 2009, they began working as an Adjunct Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2010, they joined the Steering Committee and Judge of the NASA-NIA RASC-AL, which is open to undergraduate and graduate university-level students studying fields with applications to human space exploration. In 2019, they became the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Generation Orbit. In 2020, they were appointed Executive Director of Human Torpor Fund, Inc. John Bradford, Ph.D. has also held a variety of roles at SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) since 2001, including Chief Executive Officer, President & Chief Technical Officer (CTO), President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), President, and President, Facility Security Officer.

John Bradford, Ph.D. received their B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
