Shannon Archer

Shannon Archer has worked in the space industry since 2017. Shannon began their career at UrtheCast as a Spacecraft Systems in 2017. Shannon then moved to BOMBARDIER in the same year, where they held the role of Methods Analyst. In 2018, they joined MDA as a Solutions Architect. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as Spacecraft and Mission Systems Team Lead at SpaceAlpha Insights.

Shannon Archer completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Carleton University in 2016. In 2017, they obtained a Space Mission Engineering 5 Day Course (SMAD) from Dr. James Wertz and STK Core Training from AGI (Analytical Graphics, Inc.). In 2013, they obtained a CPR certification from St John Ambulance.
