Matthew Ficken

Matthew Ficken has work experience as a Design Engineer at SPACE/CRAFT Worldwide, Inc. starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Cordes Machine Div from June 2022 to June 2023. Matthew also has experience as a Shift Manager at Kilwins Chocolates Franchise, Inc. from June 2016 to January 2022.

Matthew Ficken has a solid education background in mechanical engineering. Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2019 to 2023. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued further education by completing a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing at the same institution in 2023.

Additionally, Matthew Ficken has obtained several certifications related to CAD software. In September 2021, they earned the Certified Solidworks Professional - Mechanical Design (CSWP) certification from Dassault Systèmes. In November 2022, they obtained the following certifications: Certified Solidworks Expert - Mechanical Design (CSWE), Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Drawing Tools (CSWPA-DT), Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Sheet Metal (CSWPA-SM), Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Surfacing (CSWPA-SU), and Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Weldments (CSWPA-WD). All of these certifications reflect Matthew's proficiency in using SOLIDWORKS software and demonstrate their expertise in various advanced features and tools within the program.
