Ian Johnson

Ian Johnson is the current Vice President and Creative Director at Spacee. Prior to this, they were a Motion Designer/Editor on the UX team at Verizon from August 2017 to December 2017. There, they led initiatives in videography, editing, and motion graphics for various UX products. Ian also helped expand the team's capabilities to facilitate growth. Before Verizon, Johnson was with IN-COM Data Systems from July 2008 to March 2009 as their Brand Designer and Marketing Director. There, they extended the company's brand into all of their marketing efforts. This included designing logos, document layouts, presentations, and UX for websites and education tools. Prior to IN-COM Data Systems, Johnson was with Element X Creative from June 2005 to June 2008 as a 3D Artist/Motion Designer/Flash Developer. There, they designed for commercials, web development, flash UX, game development, and 3D entertainment. Ian also helped grow business capabilities. Johnson also has experience as a Founder, previously holding that title at Chaos Creative. Ian also has intern experience, having served as a Graphics Intern at A3D from May 2004 to August 2004.

Ian Johnson studied communication graphics at the University of North Texas. Ian then went on to study 3D animation at Collin College. Ian later attended Plano East Senior High.

Ian Johnson reports to Skip Howard, Founder & CEO. Some of their coworkers include David Trowbridge - Chief Commercial Officer, Ryan Strong - VP, Product, and Larry McNutt - Co-Founder & CTO.
