Wojciech B.

Wojciech B. has a long and varied work experience. Wojciech began their career in 2007 as a Research Associate at SAP (SAP Research Dresden), where they worked on projects related to information extraction, information retrieval, and text analytics. Wojciech then moved to Cloud&Heat Technologies GmbH in 2012, where they served as a Team Lead, Software Developer, DevOps, and Cloud System Architect/Scrum Master. In 2016, they started their own business as a Consultant and Visiting Lecturer, and also served as a Golang Poland Meetup and Golang Warsaw Meetup Organizer (pro bono). Wojciech then joined LYKE eServices Indonesia (now Jollychic Indonesia) as a System Engineer/Senior Software Developer in 2016. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Head of Engineering at SMACC and Head of Engineering/Warsaw Office Lead at Hypatos. Wojciech then joined Codility in 2020 as Director of Engineering Platform and Director of Infrastructure. Finally, they are currently the VP of Engineering at Spacelift. Throughout their career, Wojciech has worked on projects related to tech leadership and coaching, software engineering topics, cloud engineering, and applied machine learning.

Wojciech B. began their education in 1997, attending XIV LO im. Polonii Belgijskiej and studying Math-physics with an extended learning program of English and Computer Science. In 2001, they moved on to Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they studied Computer Science: Data processing engineering until 2006. That same year, Wojciech B. earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden. Wojciech then went on to pursue a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Potsdam, though they stopped before completing the degree in 2012.
