Rosemarie Unite

Rosemarie Unite is a seasoned Principal Materials Engineer at SpaceX, having held multiple roles since March 2013, including Senior Materials Engineer and Lead Materials Engineer. At SpaceX, Rosemarie manages the Materials Reliability and Thermal Protection System (TPS) labs, focusing on environmental testing and process evaluations for advanced materials such as composites and coatings. Rosemarie played a crucial role in establishing and leading the composite materials engineering team, serving as the main engineering contact for all composite-related activities, including design guidelines and certification efforts. Earlier experience includes developing standardized test plans as a Structures Engineer and serving as a Structures Intern at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Rosemarie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2013.
