Karen Gough

Karen Gough has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles.

In 1999, they started their career at Lutron Electronics, where they held multiple positions, including Sales Representative, Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and National Account Manager. During their time at Lutron Electronics, they oversaw sales and marketing operations, managed the electrical distribution channel, and implemented innovative product strategies.

In 2014, Karen joined Philips as the Director of Marketing Strategy for the Enterprise Systems & Services Solutions team in North America. Karen designed and executed marketing strategies, developed business plans, and effectively communicated the marketing vision to align decision-making.

From 2015 to 2018, Karen served as the Vice President and Enterprise Systems & Services Director at Philips Lighting. Karen spearheaded the Retail & Hospitality segment, oversaw strategic planning, and introduced channel programming that led to market-leading growth in the retail controls market.

In 2018, Karen joined the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center as the Chair of the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors. Karen identified and designed improvements to the organizational structure, collaborated with the CEO for strategic vision, and implemented milestones within the annual plan.

Most recently, in 2021, Karen became the Vice President of Sales at SPAN, where they currently hold a leadership position.

Karen Gough earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing & International Business from Kansas State University. Additionally, they attended Wichita State University for their studies in International Business, although the specific degree obtained from there is not provided.
