Sarai Martínez Pacheco

Sarai Martínez Pacheco is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) since September 2023. Previously, Sarai held the position of Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin from March 2019 to August 2023, funded by the Irish Research Council Advanced Laurate fellowship, while also participating in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie ESR and Erasmus + Grant programs at the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF) in the Neuronal and Tissue Regeneration Group focusing on regenerative medicine, and engagement in blood-brain barrier research at The Open University. Early career experiences comprise a collaboration grant at Instituto Bioingeniería Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche studying estrogen signaling in diabetes, along with an internship in the Neuroprosthesis and Visual Rehabilitation Unit. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Biomedical Biotechnology from Universitat Politècnica de València and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche.
