Mats Hasselquist

Mats Hasselquist has extensive experience in strategic advisory and leadership roles within the financial and municipal sectors. Since October 2003, Mats has served as a strategic advisor at Tjustbygdens Sparbank, playing a key role in the merger process with Åtvidabergs Sparbank. Mats has been the CEO and board member at Sparbankernas Riksförbund since May 2012, with a focus on coordinating the interests of Swedish savings banks. Additionally, Mats holds various board positions, including chairperson of Västervik Miljö & Energi AB and Västerviks Kraft Elnät AB, and has been involved in initiatives such as Ostkustens Risk & Compliance AB since its inception in 2018. Mats's educational background includes a degree in Accounting and Auditing from Växjö University, completed between 1983 and 1986.
