D'ontra Hughes

D'ontra Hughes has extensive experience in the business world. In 2011, they were appointed Vice President of Operations at Bellichiamo, Inc., where they were responsible for preparing legal documents, filing and monitoring trademarks, and keeping financial records. In 2012, they were appointed COO of Bellinity.com, where they assisted in guiding and development of the project. In 2013, they became Founder and CEO of both SPARE CS, Inc. and Mercuri Systems, Inc. At SPARE CS, Inc., they worked to reduce costs associated with accessing cash for small businesses and underbanked consumers. In 2016, they became part of the G-Startup Worldwide Tokyo 2016 Batch.

D'ontra Hughes obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Psychology from Arizona State University between 2008 and 2010, followed by a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the same university between 2007 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained two certifications in 2018 from LinkedIn: "Avoiding Phishing Scams" and "Blockchain Basics".
