Robert Orlando

Robert Orlando has a long and varied work experience. In 2022, they began working as the Revenue Operations Manager for Spare. From 2012 to 2022, they worked for Vorum, first as the Acting Operations Manager, where they spearheaded process improvement and departmental restructuring projects, resulting in Vorum's annual revenue growth from $5M to $10M over 3 years. Robert then served as Implementation Team Lead, leading a team of 4 engineers to deliver 60% of the company's annual revenue in software training and hardware implementations. Finally, they were a Senior Implementation Specialist, achieving an NPS of 100 delivering software training and hardware implementations to clients in person across 16 different countries. From 2011 to 2012, they were the Western Province Councilor for Sigma Phi Delta, a mentoring position for fostering the growth of the Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Electro Mechanical Engineer at Hood Technology Corporation, working in a group of four engineers in development and application of a non-intrusive stress measurement system for blade vibration monitoring in turbines. From 2009 to 2010, they were an Opening Day Coordinator for UBC Housing and Hospitality Services. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Summer Engineering Student for Vale, managing a project updating mechanical drawings for service piping in the nickel refinery. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, they were a Research Assistant at BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver, writing and improving routines in Matlab and E-Prime for use as stimuli in functional MRI experiments.

Robert Orlando obtained a B.A.Sc in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia between 2004 and 2010. Robert has also obtained three additional certifications, including the Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards Specialist Superbadge from Trailhead by Salesforce in January 2022, the Process Automation Specialist Superbadge from Trailhead by Salesforce in January 2022, and the Business Intelligence for Consultants certification from LinkedIn in July 2021.
