Senior Scientist Gene Editing at SparingVision

Caitlin Collin has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Caitlin began their career as a Senior Research Assistant at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in 2003, where they worked until 2009. Following this, they worked as a Research Assistant at IGBMC from 2009 to 2010. Caitlin then took on the role of Researcher/Lab Manager at the University of Copenhagen from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Caitlin joined DanStem as a PhD Fellow, a position they held until 2016. During their time at DanStem, they also worked as a Researcher for a brief period in 2016. From 2017 to 2022, Caitlin worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ocular Genomics Institute.

Caitlin'smost recent work experience is with SparingVision, where they joined in 2022 as a Senior Scientist specializing in gene editing.

Caitlin Collin pursued their education at the University of Newcastle from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree. Following this, they attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of Molecular Mechanisms of Disease.
