Ramakrishnan Kalyanaraman began their work experience as Vice President at Ind Global Financial Trust Ltd in 1994 and remained in that role until 2001. Ramakrishnan then moved on to become Vice President at Ind Global Corporate Finance (A member of Andersen) from 2001 to 2002. Following that, they joined ICICI Securities Ltd as Vice President from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Spark Capital Advisors (India) Private Limited as Executive Director, a position they held until 2015. From 2015 to the present, Ramakrishnan has been serving as the Senior Managing Director - Strategic Relationships at Spark Capital Advisors (India) Private Limited.
Ramakrishnan Kalyanaraman completed their Secondary School education at Jawahar Higher Secondary School from 1971 to 1983. Ramakrishnan then went on to pursue their Higher Secondary education at TVS Lakshmi Marticulation Higher Secondary School from 1983 to 1985. Following that, they studied at Thiagarajar College of Engineering from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later, from 1989 to 1991, Ramakrishnan attended Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli and obtained an MBA degree.
