Rachel Jones

Rachel Jones is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social design, nonprofit leadership, and community development. Currently serving as the Social Design Director at Spark Microgrants, Rachel leads a multicultural team across four countries, implementing innovative curricula and training programs for over 500 communities. Previous roles include General Manager at the Appalachian Opportunity Fund, where Rachel oversaw operations and staff development, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, teaching social design concepts. Rachel's background also includes capacity building for social enterprises, program development with the U.S. Peace Corps, and case management for refugees. With advanced degrees in International Community Development and Social Work, Rachel combines academic insight with practical experience to drive social change.
