Michael Molony

Michael Molony has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Tribe Lead (General Manager) of Network Evolution at Spark New Zealand since 2008. Michael has held various leadership roles within Spark, including Domain Chapter Lead positions focused on technology strategy, architecture, and mobile networks, as well as Head of Mobile for Spark Connect. Prior to Spark, Michael worked at Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited as Technology Operations Manager for Mobile Networks and held positions at RF Test Solutions Ltd and Meteor Mobile Communications. Michael's career began in the NZ Army, where foundational technical expertise was developed as an Electronics, Instrument and Radar Technician.
