Nadia Fortino

Nadia Fortino has several years of experience in the field of human resources. Nadia currently holds the position of Director, People and Culture at Spark Power, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the People and Culture Manager, Corporate at Spark Power from March 2021 to November 2022. Before joining Spark Power, Nadia worked at Winoa Canada Inc. as the HRBP Americas from August 2019 to November 2020. Nadia'searlier experience includes working as the Human Resource Manager at Winoa from January 2013 to August 2019.

Nadia Fortino completed their education in chronological order, starting with a BA Honours in Political Science and Government and History from Brock University from 2002 to 2007. Nadia then pursued an MA in Politics with a focus on Politics and Immigration at The University of Sheffield from 2007 to 2008. Later, they attended Niagara College from 2011 to 2013 to study French as A Second Language. From 2013 to 2015, Nadia completed a degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration at Niagara College. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications including SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the SHRM and CHRL from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association.
