Ahil Ganesh

Ahil Ganesh is a Discovery Manager at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., where responsibilities include overseeing new therapeutic modalities since November 2020. Prior to this role, Ahil Ganesh served as a Senior Research Scientist and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, focusing on novel delivery technologies for small molecules and oligonucleotides. Ahil completed a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Toronto, developing a hydrogel platform for controlled protein delivery, and contributed to significant research as a PhD Candidate in the Shoichet Lab, specializing in nanoparticle formulations for drug delivery. Ahil also gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at AmacaThera, evaluating injectable controlled release platforms. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science, both from the University of Toronto.
