Hima Bindu Reddy Seerapu, PhD has a strong background in bioanalytical operations and translational development within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Hima Bindu Reddy'smost recent role was as the Bioanalytical Operations and Outsourcing Lead at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., where they worked closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic project and resource planning for gene therapy projects. Prior to that, they were a Translational Development Specialist at Sarepta Therapeutics, contributing to the advancement of gene therapy programs. Hima Bindu Reddy also held positions as a Scientist at Generation Bio, where they provided bioanalytical expertise for IND-enabling programs, and as a Research Scientist at Biogen. Before transitioning to industry, Hima worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cleveland Clinic, conducting research in the field of biomedical sciences. Hima Bindu Reddy started their career as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and also worked as a Lecturer at Visakha Govt. Degree College for Women. Hima Bindu Reddy Seerapu, PhD, has a diverse education history. Hima Bindu Reddy completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Botany from Andhra University in 2000. Hima Bindu Reddy then pursued a Master's degree in Microbiology from Andhra University from 2001 to 2003. Continuing their education, they obtained a doctorate in Life Sciences (Endothelial Biology) from Anna University between 2006 and 2011. Hima Bindu further enhanced their expertise by completing a postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular Cardiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine from 2011 to 2012, followed by another postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroscience at the same institution from 2012 to 2013. Hima Bindu Reddy also received a certification in Business Analytics: From Data to Insights from Wharton Online in 2020. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University College of Professional Studies and Villanova School of Business in 2023, and completed various courses on topics such as Cross-Functional Teamwork, Emotional Intelligence, Product Management, and Critical Thinking through LinkedIn.
