Timothy Bream

Timothy Bream has a diverse and extensive work experience. Timothy began their career with internships at IBM in 1985, where they gained valuable industry insights. Timothy then joined Glaxo SmithKline in 1996 as a Manager of Applications Development. In 2000, Timothy moved on to First Consulting Group, where they served as a Manager until 2003. Following that, they joined Theorem Clinical Research in 2002 as the Director of Quality Control, a position they held until joining Spark Therapeutics, Inc. in 2017. At Spark Therapeutics, Timothy worked as the IT Compliance Lead, leading the implementation and ongoing support of an IT quality, regulatory, and statutory compliance program. Timothy then progressed to the role of Director of IT Compliance & Risk Management, where they lead IT compliance initiatives for IT systems and infrastructure and directs the strategy, development, and implementation of third-party cybersecurity risk programs.

Timothy Bream holds an MBA degree in Technology and e-Commerce from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, which was completed from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a ME degree in Engineering Science from Penn State University between 1987 and 1991. Timothy's undergraduate education was in Computer Science, earning a BS degree from Shippensburg University from 1983 to 1987. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "Security Awareness and Culture Professional (SACP)" certification from H Layer Credentialing in October 2022, and the "Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA)" certification from ISACA in 2012.
