Gaby Piccott

Gaby Piccott has a diverse work experience, with a focus on human resources, training, and organizational development. Gaby is currently working as the Human Resources & Training Manager at Sparrow, where they oversee full-cycle recruiting, performance management, compensation, and disciplinary actions. Gaby collaborates with senior leaders to understand learning objectives and strategies, leads the performance management process, and coaches managers on internal policies and procedures. Gaby also conducts virtual training sessions, develops HR procedures and the employee handbook, and ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

Prior to Sparrow, Gaby worked as a Learning and Performance Strategist and Founder at Konnect the Dots Training Inc. Gaby was responsible for designing engaging learning experiences, providing training on company policies, and delivering orientation and onboarding for new hires. Gaby also founded LinkedIn Local Halifax, an initiative that aims to connect professionals in the local community.
