Lucio Stefan is a highly skilled quantum optics engineer currently employed at Sparrow Quantum since February 2024. Prior to this role, Lucio served as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow and postdoctoral researcher at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, focusing on parametric driving in mechanical resonators and developing platforms to couple them with single electronic spins in diamond. Lucio's research experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at the University of Cambridge, where studies involved diamond quantum magnetometry and the application of this technology to 2-dimensional materials and biological samples. Additionally, Lucio completed a PhD in Quantum Engineering at the University of Bristol, complemented by research roles in various prestigious institutes, including École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay and Fondazione Bruno Kessler. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, both from Università di Trento.
