Michelle Claybaugh

Michelle Claybaugh is an experienced educator specializing in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and adult education. Currently serving as a CTE Marketing Teacher at Gratiot Isabella Career & Technical Education Center since August 2023, Michelle has dedicated significant time to adult learners at Sparta Area Schools since 2005, focusing on the GED program and online high school completion through Edgenuity. Previously, Michelle contributed to Kalamazoo Public Schools for 27 years as a CTE Business Teacher, where responsibilities included advising DECA and BPA, serving as Department Head, and developing business curriculum across various subjects. Earlier experience includes teaching adult education at Kent City Schools. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in Career and Technical Education from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Teacher Education from Central Michigan University.
