Greg Tonner

Greg Tonner has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Greg is currently the Head of Growth at Wrkr, an Australian compliance engine for businesses of all sizes. Prior to that, they held the same position at InPayTech Limited, where they provided compliance and payment software solutions to create efficiencies for payroll service providers and Australian employers.

Before joining the technology sector, Greg was the Head of APAC at Sparta Science, a company focused on improving physical performance assessment and preventing injuries through sports science and technology.

Greg also has experience in the sports industry, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. In this role, they were responsible for overall strategy, financial performance, commercial operations, and community engagement.

Before their venture into the sports industry, Greg held various leadership positions at Optus and Telstra, where they managed large revenue streams and teams across the information, communication, and technology sectors.

Additionally, Greg has worked as a Company Owner, providing consulting services to businesses on growth/turnaround strategies and risk/performance issues. Greg has also held strategic account director positions at Oracle and sales director roles at Level 3 Communications and WorldCom Communications.

Greg Tonner completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Business/Commerce, General from James Cook University between 1987 and 1990. Greg later pursued further education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2014. Mr. Tonner also enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1993. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. The exact start and end dates for their last two educational experiences are unknown.
