Radar System Engineer at Spartan Radar

Brian Alpert has a diverse work experience in various engineering and research roles. Brian is currently working as a Radar System Engineer at Spartan Radar, where they are involved in the development of next-generation automotive radar systems. Prior to this, Brian worked at Raytheon Technologies as a System Engineer, where they focused on upgrading F18 APG-79 Radar Systems and was responsible for algorithm design, simulation software development, and data processing. Brian also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon, where they designed and delivered test system mechanical drawings.

Before joining the industry, Brian gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Denver, where they conducted research on spin rectification effects and nanoscale materials. Brian also worked as a Lead Facilitator at Robots-4-U, where they taught robotics and STEM fundamentals to children. Additionally, Brian was a Euroscholars Research Associate at KU Leuven, where they focused on material science and engineering modeling. Brian presented their research findings at the Euroscholars Fall conference in Munich.

Brian started their engineering career as an Engineering Intern at Alere, Inc., where they gained practical experience in manufacturing medical devices and performed validations on injection molded components. Brian also worked as a Research Associate in the Physics Laboratory at the University of Denver and was involved in environmental sustainability projects.

Brian Alpert attended the University of Denver from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they studied at Francis W. Parker School, earning their High School diploma with a focus on STEM subjects. Additionally, in 2011, they participated in the Summer Engineering Academy at the University of Arizona, where they completed a course on Intro to Engineering.
