McKinley Souder

McKinley Souder has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry.

- From February 2022 to the present, McKinley has worked as a Software Engineer at Spartan Radar.

- From July 2021 to March 2022, McKinley was a Machine Learning Research Assistant at UC San Diego. Their work involved developing machine learning models to identify hate speech in social media and conducting web app experiments to evaluate their contestability.

- From March 2021 to June 2021, McKinley worked as a Computer Engineer in the Autonomous Vehicles Lab at UC San Diego. They led a team in designing, manufacturing, and testing an autonomous vehicle. They also trained a deep learning model for racing and implemented an autonomous navigation program.

- From November 2020 to June 2021, McKinley worked as an Embedded Medical Systems Researcher at the Kastner Research Group, also at UC San Diego. They developed an uninterruptible power supply circuit for an Advanced Ventilator project and reviewed and fixed PCB designs.

- In June 2020, McKinley had an internship as a Software Engineer Intern at Everytable. They designed urgent scalable software in response to the increased demand for meals due to the Covid pandemic. They also developed software for traceability and built a sales forecasting tool.

McKinley Souder studied at UC San Diego from 2017 to 2021, completing a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering. Their field of study was primarily focused on the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
