Nick Yates

Nick Yates has extensive work experience in various roles related to OEM business development and sales. Their most recent position was as the Director of OEM Partnerships, Commercial Vehicles at Spartan, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sensata Technologies as an OEM Business Development Manager for on-road vehicles from July 2020 to July 2022. Before that, they held a similar role at PRECO Electronics, a Sensata Technologies Company, from April 2019 to July 2020.

Earlier in their career, Nick worked at XSENSOR Technology Corporation, where they held roles as Senior Business Development Manager from September 2016 to March 2019 and as a Business Development Manager from August 2014 to August 2016. At XSENSOR, they played a key role in developing pressure imaging technology for various industries, including automotive testing and mattress recommendation.

Before joining XSENSOR, Nick worked at H&W Computer Systems as a New-Market Strategist from March 2012 to July 2014, where they identified and pursued opportunities for new revenue sources. Nick also served as a Sales Associate from October 2010 to May 2012 and as a Market Research Analyst from September 2008 to October 2010 at H&W Computer Systems.

Prior to their time at H&W Computer Systems, Nick had roles at Hewlett-Packard as an IPG Commercial Direct Program Manager, at Priority Freight Lines as an Account Executive, at Conway as an Account Manager - Outside Sales, and at ROADWAY EXPRESS as an Inside Sales representative.

Nick started their career as an Industrial Sales Representative at Dr. Martens AirWair USA from February 2003 to December 2003.

Nick Yates graduated from Willamette University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies. Nick then pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at George Fox University from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Nick obtained a certification as a CAS Member Consultant from Crafting A Strategy in August 2021.
