Shannon Bishop

Shannon Bishop is the Director of Career & Student Success at Spartanburg Methodist College. Shannon has over 15 years of experience in the workforce development and career counseling field. Shannon began their career as a Branch Manager with Randstad in 2002. In 2006, Shannon transitioned into the business development field and became a Business Development Manager with Remedy Intelligent Staffing. In 2007, Shannon took on the role of Director of Finance/Registrar with ITT Technical Institute. In 2015, Shannon became a Graduation Advisor with Joined Inc. And in 2016, Shannon became a W.I.O.A. Case Manager with Goodwill. Shannon has a passion for helping others reach their full potential and is excited to be a part of the Spartanburg Methodist College team!

Shannon Bishop has a Master of Organizational Leadership from Anderson University (SC) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Human Resources from ITT Technical Institute.

Shannon Bishop reports to W. Scott Cochran, President. They are on a team with Jericho Williams - Professor of English & Director, Write Place, Jill Johnson - Registrar, and Emily Lausier - Employer Relations Manager.
