Meagan Roy

Meagan Roy currently serves as a Watershed Management Coordinator at Spartanburg Water, a position held since September 2022. Previously, Meagan worked with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources as a Wildlife Biologist II and held positions at Spartanburg Water as a Watershed Management Specialist. Earlier experience includes roles as a Baker at Publix Super Markets and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University, where responsibilities involved teaching undergraduate lab sections and initiating class discussions. Additional roles include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting stream assessment research, and participating in various volunteer capacities, including as a Camp Counselor at Spartanburg Science Center and a Rehabilitation Volunteer at Southeastern Raptor Center. Meagan holds both a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and Fisheries and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Management from Auburn University.
