Laura Mitchell-Brewer

Laura Mitchell-Brewer is an experienced professional in grants administration and donor engagement. Currently serving as Foundation Relations Officer and Donor Engagement Officer at SPCA of Texas since November 2021, Laura previously held roles as Area Assistant at Buffalo Exchange and Grants and Contracts Compliance Manager at Denton County Transportation Authority, where responsibilities included managing the entire grant life cycle and training staff on grant administration. Prior experience also includes serving as Grants Specialist for the City of Lewisville, handling nonprofit liaison duties and managing homebuyer assistance programs. Earlier positions at Communities Foundation of Texas and as an intern at GENaustin provide a solid foundation in philanthropy and administrative support. Laura possesses a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Southwestern University.
