Mark Rangel

Mark Rangel has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Mark is currently a Partner and EVP of Commercial Business Development and Preconstruction at Spear Commercial & Industrial since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at The Brandt Companies, LLC as a Business Development Manager for the electrical division, where they focused on building an energy solutions division specializing in solar PV, combined heat & power, energy efficiency, and UPS systems from April 2016 to January 2020. Before that, they served as the Executive Vice President of Energy Solutions at Circular Energy from February 2015 to April 2016. Mark also worked as the VP of Business Development at Meridian Solar, Inc. from August 2011 to January 2015, and as the General Manager at Texas Solar Power Co. from April 2004 to May 2011. Mark began their career at IBM as a Junior Mechanical Engineer in the PPP & C department from May 2002 to April 2004.

Mark Rangel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Mark pursued this degree from 1999 to 2002.
