Bill DePonte has extensive experience in athletic administration and program development, having served as Chief Operating Officer at Special Olympics New Jersey since June 1989, where responsibilities included overseeing program initiatives and managing medical team volunteer efforts. Prior to this, Bill was the Director of Athletics at Burlington City High School from October 1990 to October 2015, supervising athletic programs and leading the Health & Physical Education, Fine & Performing Arts, and Practical Arts departments. Earlier experience includes roles as an Athletic Trainer for the Philadelphia Flyers and Cherry Hill West High School. Bill holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Rowan University, a Master of Education in Sports Medicine/Exercise Physiology from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education from Rowan University.
