Katherine Marie is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as an instructional facilitator for L.E.A.D. - Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence since September 2016, where responsibilities include training police officers and facilitating classes at police academies. Additionally, Katherine teaches a curriculum developed by the Mendez Foundation to sixth-grade students, focusing on goal-setting and emotional intelligence. A dedicated volunteer for Special Olympics New Jersey since June 2015, Katherine participates in the annual NJ Law Enforcement torch run and the opening ceremony. Holding the position of police officer since January 2013, Katherine responds to various calls for service, with a previous background as a public safety telecommunicator in two police departments from 2004 to 2012. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Saint John's University, an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Bergen Community College, and a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University.
