Don Stuart

Don Stuart currently holds the position of Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Partnership Director at Special Olympics Australia, having begun this role in May 2024. As a founding member of LETR in Australia, Don is focused on providing fundraising, logistical, and administrative support for Special Olympics Australia and Australian LETR programs. Prior experience includes serving as Torch Run Manager for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, where Don facilitated planning and execution of the Torch Run from Chicago to Orlando. Don has extensive experience with LETR, working to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes, and held managerial roles within the National Rugby League as Referee's Operations Manager and with the NSW Police Force as Senior Sergeant. Educational qualifications include training from the NSW Police Academy, a Level 2 Sports Trainer certification from Sports Medicine Australia, and a Trade Certificate in Automotive Engineering from Sydney Tafe.
