Megan Scremin began their career in 2002 as an intern at Seabiscuit. Megan then worked as a Public Relations Intern at Nichols House Museum in 2003. In 2004, they interned as a Marketing Services Intern at Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Insight Bowl. Megan also served as an Event Manager at Fiesta Bowl from 2004 to 2010, where they successfully coordinated large-scale events and managed a team of employees and volunteers. In 2005, Megan worked as a Project Coordinator at Arizona Tourism Alliance, assisting in planning conferences and producing newsletters. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Senior Event Manager at The Leadership and Learning Center. Most recently, Megan has served as Vice President of Development and currently as President and CEO of Special Olympics Colorado, starting in 2013 and continuing to the present.
Megan Scremin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Strategic Communications, with a focus on PR, Advertising, and Marketing, from the University of Kentucky, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Megan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Recreation & Tourism at Arizona State University, from 2005 to 2007. As part of their educational journey, Megan also took part in a Semester at Sea program at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. Megan began their education at the Emma Willard School, where they attended from 1997 to 2000.
