Melissa Erdmann

Vice President, Sports & Programs at Special Olympics Southern California

Melissa Erdmann has extensive experience in the field of Special Olympics. Melissa began their career in 1999 as the Regional Director of Sports at Special Olympics Wisconsin. In 2013, they transitioned to Special Olympics Southern California, where they held various roles including Manager of LAUSD Sports and Director of Schools, Young Athletes & Families. Currently, Melissa holds the position of Assistant Vice President, Unified Champion Schools at Special Olympics Southern California. Melissa'sresponsibilities involve managing various programs and initiatives such as the School Partnership Program, Unified Champion Schools, and Family Initiatives. Melissa is dedicated to promoting athlete growth, engagement, and inclusivity in the Special Olympics community.

Melissa Erdmann obtained their Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Chaminade University of Honolulu, between the years 1993 and 1997.
