Morgan Larche is an experienced professional in the field of inclusive sports and recreational therapy, currently serving as Director of Unified Schools for Special Olympics Washington since July 2013. In this role, Morgan directs the Unified Strategy for Schools, managing initiatives for Unified Sports, Youth Leadership, and Whole School Activities across K-12 and colleges, while fostering relationships with educators and key organizations statewide. Previous roles include Director of Program Development, where Morgan led statewide efforts to support local directors and developed training materials, and Southeast Region Manager, focused on implementing Project UNIFY in school districts. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Metro Parks Tacoma and the YMCA of Greater Seattle, where Morgan enhanced recreational programming for individuals with disabilities. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation from Eastern Washington University.

Special Olympics Washington (SOWA) provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
