Tanisha Y. Rush

Tanisha Y. Rush is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in grants management and financial operations. Currently serving as the Director of Grants Management and Procurement at the Special Olympics since August 2022, Tanisha oversees the execution and compliance of numerous government and privately funded grants while leading a team of Grant Accountants. Previously, Tanisha held the position of Assistant Director of Financial Operations at Howard University, managing over 650 grants, and has held various financial roles at AARP, Viacom Inc. - BET Networks, Discovery Communications, and Capital Financial Group. Tanisha holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus and dual Bachelor's degrees in Public Administration and Accounting and Finance.
