Omar A Almajali

Omar A AlMajali has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Umniah as a High Value Segment Product Manager, where they focused on new product innovation, managing the company's portfolio and suppliers relations, and overseeing managed security and unified communication services. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they were a Regional Product Manager at Orange, providing B2B consultation for Orange affiliates in the EMEA region. Omar also has experience in the telecom sector, having worked as a Managed IT Services Product Manager at Zain Jordan from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, Omar has gained expertise in information communication technology training, serving as an Information Communication Technology Trainer at Innovation Consulting Group ICG from 2019 to 2021. Omar has also been involved in entrepreneurship, having co-founded Ketabi in 2020. Most recently, Omar has held the positions of Head of Product Development and Product Development Manager at STS - Specialized Technical Services, where they govern the software development lifecycle, gathers business requirements, and participates in product definition and feature prioritization. Omar is currently active in their roles at STS and as a council member at GERSON LEHRMAN GROUP LIMITED.

Omar A AlMajali completed their high school education in the scientific field at the Latin Patriarchate School in 2004. Omar then attended Mutah University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Omar has obtained several certifications, including "Develop AI solutions with Azure OpenAI" from Microsoft in 2023, "Family and Education: Social Media in Education" from Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) in 2022, and "Startup Founder Alumni" from Founder Institute in 2022. Omar also holds certifications in various cloud computing specialties from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Global Science and Technology Forum, as well as a "TOT - Training Of Trainers" certification from TTM Associates Ltd in 2017.
