Dana Tappen

Dana Tappen is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist and part-time faculty member at California State University, Northridge since August 2016, teaching courses such as Phonetics and Language Disorders. As the owner of Dana Tappen, SLPD, CCC-SLP since 2006, Dana provides diagnostic and treatment services for children with communication disorders and manages business operations. Additional roles include serving as a Speech Language Pathologist at Specialized Therapy Services, Inc. and previously at Aveson Charter School, overseeing assessments and IEPs. Dana has also worked as a clinical supervisor at California State University San Marcos and held positions in various schools and clinics, focusing on children with Autism and communication disabilities. Dana holds a Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Rocky Mountain University, along with a Master's degree from San Diego State University.
