Mihai Vlasceanu

Mihai Vlasceanu has extensive work experience in the engineering and teaching fields. Mihai started their career at Ryerson University in 2008, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant, supervising experiments and assisting students with course material. Mihai also served as a Research Student, studying various aspects of aluminum and magnesium alloys for casting processes. In 2011, Mihai joined Spectra Aluminum Products Ltd. as a Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes. Mihai later became the Engineering Manager, overseeing the engineering department, and ultimately was promoted to the role of Vice President of Technical Services.

Mihai Vlasceanu completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, from 2004 to 2008. Mihai then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Materials Science from the same university, from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their educational background, Mihai Vlasceanu holds several certifications. Mihai is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, which they obtained from ASQ in March 2015. Mihai is also a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certified by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). The specific month and year of obtaining the P.Eng. certification are not provided.
