Jon Cervelli has a diverse range of work experience. Jon began their career at Valleylab Inc as an Electrical Technician in 1997. In 1999, they joined the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as a Technical Assistant, where they assembled and tested air sampling devices.

In 2000, Jon moved to Spectra Logic Corp and took on the role of Electrical and Software Engineer. Jon was the main engineering contact for manufacturing technicians and played a crucial role in discovering and resolving product and manufacturing defects. Jon also implemented solutions and made improvements to library software and hardware. In 2002, their role shifted to Software Engineer, where they were a key member of a software design team for the T-Finity tape library. Jon utilized their extensive knowledge of existing Spectra tape libraries to guide new development and continuously improved the robotics software for various tape libraries.

Jon then transitioned to Spectra Logic in 2010 as a Technical Support Engineer, where they provided top-tier product support to ensure customer satisfaction. Jon offered product and troubleshooting support to field engineers, product specialists, technicians, and direct customers. Jon also regularly contributed to the knowledge base by creating content.
