Michael Larsen

Michael Larsen has over 30 years of experience in finance and business operations management. Michael started their career as an Accountant at Christiani & Nielsen Brazil in 1984. From 1988 to 1997, they worked at LEGO Overseas Denmark, where they served as a Controller and later as the Finance Manager for LEGO Overseas A/S. In these roles, they were responsible for annual accounting, currency exposure, cash flow, and external partnerships.

In 1997, Larsen joined LEGO Japan as the Finance Director, overseeing administrative support for regional companies in Asia/Pacific. Michael also implemented a new sales and marketing structure in Taiwan and helped implement a global ERP system.

In 2004, Larsen joined General Electric Energy - Jenbacher A/S Denmark as the Finance Manager. Michael streamlined financial reporting to meet shorter deadlines after the company's acquisition by GE. Michael also handled bookkeeping, internal and external reporting, and personnel administration.

From 2007 to 2009, Larsen served as the Finance Manager at Jydeport, where they were responsible for finance, IT, and HR. Michael established gross margin reporting per product group and handled financial reporting internally and externally.

From 2010 to 2012, Larsen worked as the Interim Finance Director at SPX APV Kolding. Michael managed the finance department, reporting to headquarters and local management. Michael improved the month-end closing procedure and handled actual, budget, and cash flow reporting within tight deadlines.

In 2011, Larsen joined BUKH A/S as the Finance Manager, overseeing the management of registration functions and streamlining financial reporting to management. Michael established reporting of margin per product group.

Since 2012, Larsen has been working at Spectralink Corporation as the Director of Finance and Business Operations. Michael manages the finance department, reporting to headquarters in the US. Michael established reporting to the newly established headquarters and built relationships between the Danish and US organizations.

Michael Larsen attended the Copenhagen Business School from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a degree in HD Accounting. No specific field of study was mentioned.
